Please ensure this is true for your passport ASAP, it is the attendees responsibility.

Attendees are responsible for their own travel visa.

U.S. citizens can obtain a renewable single-entry 30-day tourist visa on arrival at Egyptian airports for a 25 USD fee. Or you can apply for a Visa online in advance of your travels/

The Government of Egypt has created a website for the issuance of e-visas. The website is very intuitive but let us know if you need help.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the required documents to travel to Egypt.

Egypt doesn’t have any Covid restrictions at the moment. As of 17 June 2022, Egypt has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions on travelers coming into the country.

All foreign visitors and Egyptian citizens will enter without the need to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test.

IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility to check on the entry requirements for the country that you have a layover/transit.

Anyone that tests positive for COVID-19 while in Egypt is required to quarantine for 14 days.

While we do our best efforts to keep you updated, we highly encourage that you also do your own research regarding COVID-19 regulations in particular when it comes to special travel regulations in place for different countries. More information about the current Covid guidelines in Egypt can be found here.

At this moment, there are no rules and restrictions in place in Egypt for COVID-19 for social events.

It will be each individual’s responsibility to make sure they don’t have Covid.

If you present Covid symptoms or suspect that you may be ill, we will require you to stay in isolation, take a rapid Covid test, share results with the organizers and avoid contact with other people.

If you test positive for Covid, you must self-isolate for at least 5 days (provided that on the last day of isolation at least 24 hours have passed since the disappearance of symptoms).

Please bring with you at least four covid tests for personal use.

November is one of the best times of year to visit Egypt. It’s the beginning of winter and the temperatures cool off dramatically, offering respite from the scorching heat of the summer months. Bring a jacket for the cooler temperatures at night.
